# Environmentally-Preferred Products & Practices Policy

### Scope

This policy applies to all employees, contractors and suppliers engaging with DOS & Co.

### Definitions

### General Principles

* Sustainable Procurement: We prioritise the procurement of EPP's that are durable, reusable, recyclable and/or made from recycled materials.
* Resource Efficiency: We promote the efficient use of resources, including energy, water and materials.
* Waste Reduction: We encourage recycling and the reduction of waste, aiming for a zero-waste environment.

### When you're purchasing something

* Evaluate: Look at the whole lifecycle cost of the product, its environmental attributes and its performance criteria.
* Engage: Engage with supplies to promote the procurement of EPP's and explore opportunities for sustainability.

### Sustainable Practices

* Energy Conservation: Implement energy-saving practices and consider renewable energy sources.
* Water Conservation: Promote water-saving practices and technologies.
* Green Building: Adopt green building standard and practices for facility management and new locations.
