We aim to minimise the environmental impact of our operations by promoting the procurement and use of environmentally-preferred products and by adopting sustainable practices.
Scope
This policy applies to all employees, contractors and suppliers engaging with DOS & Co.

Environmentally-Preferred Products or EPP's | Products or services that have a lesser or reduced effect on human health and the environment when compared to competing products or services. |
Sustainable Practices | Practices that meet the need of the present, without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. |
General Principles
Sustainable Procurement: We prioritise the procurement of EPP's that are durable, reusable, recyclable and/or made from recycled materials.
Resource Efficiency: We promote the efficient use of resources, including energy, water and materials.
Waste Reduction: We encourage recycling and the reduction of waste, aiming for a zero-waste environment.
When you're purchasing something
Evaluate: Look at the whole lifecycle cost of the product, its environmental attributes and its performance criteria.
Engage: Engage with supplies to promote the procurement of EPP's and explore opportunities for sustainability.
Sustainable Practices
Energy Conservation: Implement energy-saving practices and consider renewable energy sources.
Water Conservation: Promote water-saving practices and technologies.
Green Building: Adopt green building standard and practices for facility management and new locations.
