Environmentally-Preferred Products or EPP's
Products or services that have a lesser or reduced effect on human health and the environment when compared to competing products or services.
Sustainable Practices
Practices that meet the need of the present, without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.
Sustainable Procurement: We prioritise the procurement of EPP's that are durable, reusable, recyclable and/or made from recycled materials.
Resource Efficiency: We promote the efficient use of resources, including energy, water and materials.
Waste Reduction: We encourage recycling and the reduction of waste, aiming for a zero-waste environment.
Evaluate: Look at the whole lifecycle cost of the product, its environmental attributes and its performance criteria.
Engage: Engage with supplies to promote the procurement of EPP's and explore opportunities for sustainability.
Energy Conservation: Implement energy-saving practices and consider renewable energy sources.
Water Conservation: Promote water-saving practices and technologies.
Green Building: Adopt green building standard and practices for facility management and new locations.
