We aim to minimise the environmental impact of our operations by promoting the procurement and use of environmentally-preferred products and by adopting sustainable practices.

Scope

This policy applies to all employees, contractors and suppliers engaging with DOS & Co.

Definitions

Term	Definition
Environmentally-Preferred Products or EPP's	Products or services that have a lesser or reduced effect on human health and the environment when compared to competing products or services.
Sustainable Practices	Practices that meet the need of the present, without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.

General Principles

• Sustainable Procurement: We prioritise the procurement of EPP's that are durable, reusable, recyclable and/or made from recycled materials.

• Resource Efficiency: We promote the efficient use of resources, including energy, water and materials.

• Waste Reduction: We encourage recycling and the reduction of waste, aiming for a zero-waste environment.

When you're purchasing something

• Evaluate: Look at the whole lifecycle cost of the product, its environmental attributes and its performance criteria.

• Engage: Engage with supplies to promote the procurement of EPP's and explore opportunities for sustainability.

Sustainable Practices

• Energy Conservation: Implement energy-saving practices and consider renewable energy sources.

• Water Conservation: Promote water-saving practices and technologies.

• Green Building: Adopt green building standard and practices for facility management and new locations.
